I've transcended playing video games - from now on I appreciate art

Nobody can argue anymore, that video games are not art.

Clearly not every single videogame, but is every flopped hollywood blockbuster or every backyard amateur porn art? Is every three year's old doodle or every oneliner one a flipchart art?
If you have any argument, why videogames should not be art, I am happy to hear/read them.

Until then, this friendly neighbourhood pantywaist has transcended being a mere video game player. From now on, I will only appreciate (or depreciate) art.

I think, video games are a art.
Art is a diverse range of human activities and the products of those activities.

Video game is the crystallization of human thought product.
Video games are technological artefacts insofar as they emanate from other technology, and require a large amount of technical knowledge to be made functional, in the computational sense. lg nexus 5x handyhülle

Well said.

Recently nobody challenges me anymore on the statement "video games are art", otherwise I could add your reasoning to my arsenal of arguments.
